Aedho Saigirai from the Tamil movie Vaamanan is a regular saccharine filled romantic number that keeps coming on and on in movies. But it’s really nice and am hooked to it!!!

Just finished playing Metal Gear Solid 4.
So all these years I was playing the supposed hero who at end of it actually spoiled the plans of the “real” hero, who we thought was the villain and whom we tried to kill, only to later find out he is the biological father and the guy responsible to save the world. And finally when we try to get something right this time around, a virus kills the old man / real hero / dad, coz of a virus in the hero that was meant to kill the real hero as part of the grand scheme by the actual villains whom we were working for, that we didnt realize till the end. And it took close to 20 years and 6 games to tell that.
Now that’s the shit ! ! !
The whole idea of trying to give thoughts through subtle notes and ideas to form a larger arc in the grand scheme of things……and at end of it revealing the whole thing face to face

Football season has started with the English PL having their first round of matches. As a pro-Italy/Serie A fan, I really don’t care about EPL, but was happy to see Man Utd drop points at home. But Chelsea looks strong.
Can’t wait for a Chelsea - Inter Milan Champions League match. (Jose Mourinho’s ex-team vs current team)
Ofcourse I can’t wait to see how my AC Milan fares in the league and as well the UEFA Cup(unfortunately, as we were placed 5th last season).
After a long time, and I mean a really long time, we have a period in Tamil film music where people have actually decided to forget downloads and the boot leg / pirated MP3s at Ritchie Street / Burma Bazaar and buy the original CDs. This really has got to credit to the fact that there some good music out there.
First came Harris Jayraj’s Dham Dhoom which has got his usual melody score with Bombay Jayshree and also some urban Tamil cum rap which has been doing its rounds on the radio. Then followed A.R. Rahman’s Sakarakatti (Chck out my previous post), Yuvan’s Saroja and also G.V Prakash / Rajini’s next Kuselan. So not just quantity but also quality.
I really can’t call any of these as a stand out album, but they all have some stand out songs. And that really is the reason why, as some news sources say: sold more cds in last 2 months than they did in last 2 years ! ! !
P.S: Music scene is way better right now in Tamil film industry than even Bollywood, where plagiarism is ruling the roost right now.
